Welcome to the TFBC website!

Our purpose is captured in two simple statements:

FOLLOW THE GREAT COMMANDMENT
FULFILL THE GREAT COMMISSION.

The words of Jesus in Matthew 22:36-40 state the Great Commandment. The Great commandment has two parts. Part one is directed toward God. He is to be loved supremely, exhaustively, exhaustively, and continuously. Part two directs our attention to our neighbors-people who share the planet with us.  We are to love them sacrificially caring for them at least as well as we care for ourselves. As Jesus said” All the law and Prophets hang on these two commandments.

In the Great Commission Jesus commanded his followers to make disciples of all nations. 
The Great Commission also has two parts:
Baptizing is the result of proclaiming the Good News of Jesus Christ.  It is one of the first steps of obedience to Jesus Christ.  “Teaching to obey” is the ongoing process of learning, and doing all the commands of the Lord Jesus Christ.

All activities and services of our church are designed to help accomplish our purpose.

The ongoing result (always in process) will be more and more people who are growing in their knowledge of God’s Truth and getting better at sharing his love with everyone we encounter.
